Zipp/Zipp Mini - Firmware update fails (DEN)

If a firmware update is not completed successfully, a hard reset is usually a way to get your speaker back on track.

Follow this procedure to initiate a hard reset

  1. Make sure your speaker is powered ON  
  2. Remove the power cable from your speaker
  3. Press and hold OFF/ON while you attach the power cable
  4. Let go of the OFF/ON button

After the hard reset - we recommend that you restart your smartphone (OFF/ON) and start Libratone App to check if there are still updates available for your speaker. 

Firmware update process not completed successfully

These are our recommandations if the firmware update process doesn't complete successfully: 

  1. Upgrade Libratone App to the latest version
  2. Make sure that the speaker is connected to mains via the power adapter
  3. Make sure that nothing is connected to the USB input
  4. Restart your Android or Apple smartphone (OFF/ON)
  5. Restart your speaker (OFF/ON)
  6. Start Libratone App again and start a new firmware update
  7. Try with another smartphone
  8. Try from a different Wi-Fi network 

Firmware is updated but there is no light in the Touch Interface

After 1 hour, we recommend you to perform a hard reset as described above.  

Firmware is updated but booting time is very long

After 1 hour, we recommend you to perform a hard reset as described above.   

5 LED keep on flashing left to right in the Touch Interface

After 1 hour, we recommend you to perform a hard reset as described above.

Follow up with a speaker Factory Reset and new Setup as described in here.

Please contact Customer Support here if you are not able to complete the firmware update successfully.
