If you are playing ABOVE volume level 3 - the volume level is reduced to 3 when you hush the speaker. BELOW level 3 - hushing the speaker will not impact the volume level. Same implementation in all firmware versions.

Actual function does not make any sense. Could you make it configurable with next firmware.
