If you wish to play music from an Android, Windows Phone or BlackBerry device to a Libratone speaker via Wi-Fi, use DLNA. Read more about setup here.
The built-in music apps on most Android devices already have support for DLNA. For optimal performance, we recommend that you use Android Jelly Bean 4.1 or later. If the built-in music app on your phone does not support DLNA, BubbleUPnP is an alternative.
Please note that Spotify and other major streaming services do not support DLNA. For wireless playback with streaming services such as Spotify, use Bluetooth.
Windows Phone 8
Several Windows Phone devices are currently DLNA hardware-ready, but only a few of them have DLNA-ready music software pre-installed. Nokia is one of the Windows Phone manufacturers offering full compatibility out of the box. Upgrade your Nokia Lumia with the latest firmware version and enjoy Nokia Lumia music on your Libratone speaker.
On a Windows PC running Windows 7 or later, DLNA is supported via the "Play to" feature. You bring up "Play to" by right clicking any audio file in Windows Explorer and hovering the cursor over "Play to". As long as the speaker is connected to the same network as the PC, it should appear on the list and be available for playback via DLNA.
For information on how to create or troubleshoot a specific DLNA setup on your Android/Windows device, please consult the user manual for your specific device.
